Be Creative is just be different

Think different is just a simple cool word created by Steve Jobs. But no other description or some magnify of its own. Today, I will tell little tips that I knew the benefit of ‘Think different’ in practical terms from my E-commerce project.

‘The Key is making your product different solely will making your product be more creative’

In the E-commerce market. If your product wasn’t different, That’s mean your product would be auto-scroll down by usual customer for sure. It was the principle of selling anything. Your product has to have ‘Thing that customer needed’ and ‘You are the only one store who can sell this’. Simple economic term call ‘Monopolize’ 100 Demand: 1 Supply. I will call it ‘Monopolize point’

From now on, every essential product has the seller already such as Air conditioner, Car, Refrigerator, Phone, etc. Even you sell a pen for 1 penny, I bet that it isn’t easy to sell (Reality is 1 penny isn’t a profitable price too).

Then how to be successful in sales?? Many people and you will this answer too. “I prefer the best product, and the price that I could buy”. So your next question will be. “How can I make the best product”??????

“HOW COULD I MAKE THE BEST PRODUCT?”

Easy to answer by open your marketing book and immediately answer, “The Comparative scoreboard”. And the real answer is ‘Bullshit’. Do you wow because of the iPhone has a better camera pixel? Your Refrigerator is way more energy deduction? No way, you will be wow if your refrigerator is able to keep your meat and vegetable into 1 year and your iPhone has 2 days battery storing.

But you can see that, It’s damn hard to create 2 days battery storing and 1-year meat saving refrigerator. But you need to make money to invest in those research for the goal. YOU NEED TONS OF MONEY TO FUND RIGHT NOW!. and you have just a normal product on the market. How could you sell it?

The answer is ‘You need to be a little creative’ to make those products unique (Just a bit)

Just be a bit different not costly. If the market has a red color, you can paint the blue. If the market has a cardboard box, you can have a wood box. If the market wants to go right you just go left.

When people (Market) has the same amout of budget like you, Being a bit different mean you can occuply those empty space and it’s totally free (The power of first mover)

Your goal is to occupy most of the empty space. How can you define empty space? I don’t know, you can do research by asking people but the faster way to know it is ‘Just Try’

Try to make a little different, Something works doesn’t come from your expectation but occasionally. Maybe people will like your 7th version of the product. Your sense will be getting better every time and that knowledge is your asset.

Every time you trying to be more different that’s mean you create more space from the non-existing market. You profit from it a bit and make the product more a little by little unique. You can increase ‘Monopoly point’ day by day and someday you will be ‘original’ That came from a crazy idea and failure.

Google said crazy idea is like a barrier to entry, 90% of people won’t ideate the crazy idea. But if you can create the enough crazy ideas. 1 of it work, it’s worth. Put your money for testing more crazy idea and monopolise it one by one.
